Architecture as a creative activity is
not just a design practice. It is also inextricably linked to its theoretical
pursuits. Insisting on architecture (and architectural photography) therefore
necessarily means constantly substantiating and defining what architecture is. Through
writing I am trying to explain the relationship between architecture and
architectural photography in order to encourage the opening of empty spaces for
questions, discourse and reflections on architecture.
